Gleeds expands Australian operation with new Gold Coast office

Gleeds has continued the expansion of its Australian business with the opening of a second office. Located on the Gold Coast, the new premises will support its existing operation in Brisbane and follows a string of local appointments.

Recent schemes in the area include various five and six star hotels, multiple projects with Griffith University, several luxury residential towers totaling $1B+ in value and a range projects on behalf of the Gold Coast City Council.

Andy King, Director of Gleeds Australia, said: “Having lived and worked here for many years, the opening of our Gold Coast office is hugely gratifying. Gleeds’ reputation for excellence has played a pivotal part in our being selected to deliver so many prestigious projects and in turn means we are able to expand our business. The general economy, whilst not as buoyant as in previous years, is still moving forward and as our recent appointments have illustrated, opening an office to support our clients is an exciting and necessary move at this time.”

Richard Steer, Chairman of Gleeds Worldwide added: “Our Asia Pacific business has been growing steadily thanks to the contribution made by our team in Australia. We are proud to have been appointed to some exceptional projects on the East Coast and the opening of this additional centre provides the perfect platform to continue supporting our fantastic client base at a local level.”

The address of the new office is Suite 1B, Cottonwood Place, Oxenford, Gold Coast, Queensland, 4210.
