Aparthotel Kennedyallee, Frankfurt
Gleeds, with its comprehensive support team, is currently acting as advisor to an international investor for the construction of a 13-storey apartment hotel with 181 units in Frankfurt am Main. The building forms a land mark as it is located directly adjacent to a traffic hub in the city centre and has best traffic connections.
In addition to the apartments, a restaurant is planned on the ground floor, a bar and a canteen kitchen will be implemented on the first floor and, for convenient parking, a two-storey underground car park is being developed. An existing building has been demolished to make room for the new development. Demolition and earthworks have started in 2020. The space on the site is very restrictred due to the location between two main roads. The apartment hotel will be attached to a neighbouring building, which brings a challenging pit structure with it. On the upper floors, a sophisticated facade design will present the 4-5 star rating of the development.
Gleeds is appointed for the project-and cost management and the project monitoring Gleeds also provides a full one-stop-shop service by doing construction management (HOAI work phases 6, 7 and 8). Due to the simultaneous appointment of the above services, a highly efficient structure can be provided to our client who only deals with one entity. The number of interfaces are being reduced and information can be channelled more precisely.
This enables Gleeds to act very quickly to new situations on site. Costs and programming are managed centrally. At all times Gleeds has an in-depth overview of the entire project.
